Lets get the job done!

The Bekoko residents association maintains a dashboard of ongoing tasks, projects or activities that is updated regularly and shared with our community, associations and the general public. Visit this page at regular intervals to find out what we are working on and how it is progressing.

Our model requires that all our projects, tasks or activities are evaluated based on a SWOT (internal strengths, internal weaknesses, external opportunities and external threats) analysis of our community and SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time bound) goals are developed and prioritized based on the needs of our members.

The executive committee is charged with developing an annual budget that is presented in the general assembly meeting for review and approval.

YEAR 2025-2026 TOP PRIORITY

  1. Legalize our articles of association and setup our official bank account

  2. Construct two security gates at the principal entrance of Bekoko, replace damaged electric poles and street lights, install new street lights in dark or venerable areas where crime can easily be committed, clean up bushes and farm areas where criminals can easily hide.

  3. Significantly increase our membership and funding through local, regional and international membership/funding drive campaigns.

  4. Repair our road infrastructure including clearing of the sidewalks, unblocking gutter ways, filling potholes on the streets and keeping our community clean.

  5. Initiate household waste collection and recycling to keep our environment clean and healthy.

  6. Planting of 500 edible fruit trees along the main streets to provide ecological benefits like improving air and water quality with side advantages of edible fruits.
